During a stay on Långviksskär and its archipelago, Ulrika Sparre investigates the matter we call stone, soil and land. The video work Ear to the ground examines our human search for truth and the conditions of human existence and reflects how the artist encounters the stone landscape of the archipelago through her senses. The starting point is the spiritual and physical search in nature and how these relationships are created and recreated.
