The retired criminal inspector Roland Hassel is increasingly devoured into the unsolved murder of Olof Palme. Hassel is in vain searching for answers through the radiostation’s Täppas Fågelberg, Göran Lambertzs “lawyer on call” and from the conspiracy theorists Sven Anér. The possible culpability of the Stockholm police in the unsolved case, draws the old TV-hero to the private detectives and their compulsively staged reconstructions of the shots on Sveavägen. Only through the insignificant details are the detectives searching for the long lost answers: the perpetrators moving pants, Lisbeths body movement and fall, hidden elevators and pre-organized hiding spots. The recreation of the unsolved murder on its 25th Memorial year turns into a therapeutic seans, an indispensable ritual for lonely middle aged men and perhaps the most viable remaining from a since long inactive homicide intervestigation.
