Filmform (est. 1950) is dedicated to preservation, promotion and worldwide distribution of experimental film and video art. Constantly expanding, the distribution catalogue spans from 1924 to the present, including works by Sweden’s most prominent artists and filmmakers, available to rent for public screenings and exhibitions as well as for educational purposes.
Audio and Visual are looking for a context between the wave lengths in a poly rhythmic dance, where coincidence leads sound to the image and vice versa. The two parts have their own functions but when they meet, they reinforce each others expression which creates harmony between them.
Anna-Lena (born 1974) lives and works in Stockholm. As an artist she works mainly with audio, video and installation art. In her work she explores how medium, content and language is correlated to each other and how they create a significant meaning. She also explores how mediated communication can be perceived intuitive and with our senses.
Her working method is often direct, present and repetitive with an abstract expression that lies close to an every day life. Jaktlund has among other places shown her work at 61. International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Germany, Syros International Film Festival, Greece, Västerås Konstmuseum, Zita Folkets Bio, Tensta Konsthall, Konsthall C, Pannrummet, The Spanish Institute in Stockholm, Botkyrka Konsthall in Tumba, Tensta Träff in Tensta, Edsviks Konsthall East in Sollentuna and at Galleri Fisk in Bergen.
