Filmform (est. 1950) is dedicated to preservation, promotion and worldwide distribution of experimental film and video art. Constantly expanding, the distribution catalogue spans from 1924 to the present, including works by Sweden’s most prominent artists and filmmakers, available to rent for public screenings and exhibitions as well as for educational purposes.
Le Sous-Marin is a film about the seasick captain who after 33 years at sea returns and creates his own universe on land. It is a film about memories that have been told by three generations to live a life of their own. Lisa Jeannin and Rolf Schuurmans mix stopmotion-animation and sequences made in 8 mm film, telling a family myth.

Lisa Jeannin studied at the Art Academy of s’Hertogen Bosch, Holland and the Art Academy of Malmö, Sweden. She works with video, animation, sounds and music, sculptures and drawings and installations, often in collaboration with Rolf Schuurmans.

Born 1972 in Oss, Holland. Lives and works in Hakebo, Sweden. Rolf Schuurmans works with film, animation, sculpture, installation and sound, often in collaboration with Lisa Jeannin. Educated at the Art Academy of Tilburg, Holland.
