Filmform (est. 1950) is dedicated to preservation, promotion and worldwide distribution of experimental film and video art. Constantly expanding, the distribution catalogue spans from 1924 to the present, including works by Sweden’s most prominent artists and filmmakers, available to rent for public screenings and exhibitions as well as for educational purposes.
Lars Hedelins education includes studies at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts 2005-2008 and at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm 2009-2011. Lars Hedelin draws films that are often about nature, our place in it and relation to it, our image of nature and the meanings we give it. Often with the landscape as the films’ most active subjects. The films are also about animation, the animation process itself and how animation gives life and soul to our environment and thus also about creative activity in itself.
