Based on the story of Catherine of Siena, a fourteenth century saint who refrained from eating, and Ana, a present-day anorexic. Katarina Ana Nervosa is a melodic meditation on body, language and the presence of history.

Imri Sandström (1980) is a Swedish artist based in Stockholm. She works with video, text and sound, exploring aspects of language, body and the tellings and readings of history. She studied at the Umeå Academy of Fine Arts, and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, completed her MFA in 2008.
