Filmform (est. 1950) is dedicated to preservation, promotion and worldwide distribution of experimental film and video art. Constantly expanding, the distribution catalogue spans from 1924 to the present, including works by Sweden’s most prominent artists and filmmakers, available to rent for public screenings and exhibitions as well as for educational purposes.

Gunilla Heilborn is a Swedish choreographer and film maker. After studies for Anna Halprin at the Tamalpa Institute in San Francisco, USA and the program of choreography at the University of Dance in Stockholm 95-98 has created performances and movies with great success for both adult and children audience. Heilborns’ unique way of combining text, motion, video and images, always spiced with humor and a cool irony, has given her an indisputable position as one of Sweden’s most interesting performance and film artists.
She works with a mix of dance, performance, film and text. Together with Mårten Nilsson, Gunilla has made several short dance films such as The Lodge (nominated for best screen choreography at Dance Screen Brighton 2005 and nominated for best short film in Sweden 2005) and Rewind (nominated for best short film in Sweden 2003), What You Do won the Swedish prize Guldbaggen for best short film and the prize for best Swedish short film at Uppsala International Short Film festival 2008.
Mårten Nilsson
Born in 1962. Lives in Stockholm. Mårten Nilsson is a filmmaker, mainly focusing on shortfilms. He also works as a cinematographer. Gunilla Heilborn works with dance, performance, text and film. They have made several films together and were awarded the Guldbagge from the Swedish Film Institute for ‘What You Do’ in 2007.
