This fall the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam hosts the exhibition “Underground – American Avant-Garde Film in the 1960s”. It will gather iconic works from the American underground moving image movement, including Gunvor Nelson’s My Name is Oona and Take-off to be screened in loop. It will be the occasion to explore the boundaries of film and art, as they were reflected upon in the American 1960s, and to (re)discover key experimental masterpieces. Curated by Eva Langerak.
Furthermore, SCHMEERGUNTZ will be shown at “Underground: The Visitors”, a one-day long part of the whole exhibition, curated by Julian Ross.
