Björn Olsson explores our attitudes to time and our environment with an almost scientific approch. Working mainly with images and video, Olsson depicts the passing of time, movement and the environment in wich we continuously find ourselves – often without noticing it. Through his work, Olsson transforms the universal into the personal and registers and depicts the individual’s subjective experience of his or hers life and existence. Every second and every movement becomes significant, providing a reminder of how time is constantly passing us by, whilst the cyclical progression of the clock and of nature provides us with a sense of security and stability.
Previous years exhibitions include Landskrona Konsthall, Neues Kunsthaus, Ahrenshoop, Skånes Konstförening, Malmö and Artbeat Festival, Cairo among many others.
