Born in 1978, raised in Botkyrka/Stockholm. Lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.

Andreas Gavell-Mohlin is an artist living in Stockholm, educated at Stockholm school of Printmaking Arts, Beckman’s School of Design and finished whit an M.A. at Konstfack, the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. Andreas is a Meditator, believer in magic, Buddhist, coffee-drinker, nicotine-addict, Muay Thai fighter, traveler, Thailand-lover, craftsman and among other things an extremely skilled draughtsman. Andreas uses art as a way of living partly to dare to place himself in situations he wouldn’t usually get into, partly to test the limits between common conventions and what is really challenging. And the drawings he makes is a way of documenting it.
