Born 1976 in Karlstad. Lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.

Anna Henriksson gradatuated with a Master of Fine Arts from Umeå University back in 2005 and took her second master in Journalism at Stockholm University in 2010. As an artist Anna Henriksson works mainly with video and photography, using chronology and observation of existing material. Her fascination focus on the organization of material and how that creates meaning and how it’s done generates different significance. The material to use can be a physical room, a staged situation, published literature, photography or moving images such as a workout video or an episode from a TV show.

Previous years solo exhibitons include Strindbergsmuseet, Stockholm, Norrtälje Konsthall, Norrtälje, Årsta public library, Stockholm, Galleri Jonas Kleerup, Stockholm, Galleri 54, Gothenburg among many others.
