Cecilia Edefalk born 1954, lives and work in Stockholm and Berlin. Edefalk is educated at Konstfack and Royal Academy of Art, Stockholm. Her artistic practice includes media such as painting, sculpture, photography, video and film.

Edefalk has exhibited at the Sao Paolobiennale, Documenta 11, Kunsthalle Bern, Aarguer Kunsthaus, Aarau, Moderna Museet, Stockholm, The Nordic Watercolour Museum, Chicago Art Institute, Whitney Museum among others. In recent years, Edefalk has made solo exhibitions at Norrköpings Artmuseum, carliergebauer Gallery, Berlin, Waldemarsudde, Stockholm, Arnstedt Galleri among others. Her work is represented in the collections of The Art Institute of Chicago, MMK, Frankfurt am Main, Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Norrköpings Konstmuseum, among others.
