David Flamholc is a Swedish director and manuscript writer who made his directorial debut aged 22 with Vackert Väder (1996) and his Svitjod 2000 (2000), a short film in collaboration with Mårten Nilsson, won awards at both Hamburg and Tampere Film Festivals. He has continued to make films and after he moved to London he has directed Flip a Coin (2004), House of the Tiger King (2004) and Afghan Gold (2010). Together with his father, Leon Flamholc, he runs the production company Caravan Films.
